Title: Mathematical Modelling and Simulation
Abstract:

Mathematical theories have been used and continued to used for solving scientific, engineering, business and biological problems. The modern world owes its existence and progress to mathematics. It has also played a significant role in the development of physical, social and life sciences. Mathematics modelling and simulation with scientific computing are the most important disciplines which have wide applications in solution of Industrial Problems.

In the proposed talk mathematical modelling and methodology with an example that demonstrate how a structure approach can benefit the modelling process are explained. Advantages and limitations of simulation have been discussed in detail. It is described how Monte Carlo simulation works. It is explained that the problem has several aspects and scopes for modifications. Linear Congruent Method of Random Number Generation is also explained and illustrated by an example.
