Xiong Wang received his B. S. degree in Chemistry and M. S. degree in Organic Chemistry from Hubei University, Wuhan, and obtained his Ph. D in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Lanzhou University, Lanzhou. He has published more than 20 papers in scientific journals and national & international conferences, a book chapter, and acquired about 40 authorized patents. As project manager, he has completed successfully 13 projects on scientific researches and novel product development, supported by PetroChina, and got involved in more than 20 projects. He has gained 7 science and technology awards from PetroChina, Gansu Province and professional association. Dr. Xiong Wang, as a senior engineer, now is the leader of a project team, and his research fields focus on polyolefin novel products R. & D, design, preparation and industrialization of olefin polymerization catalysts, and polymerization process and engineering. He is also an active reviewer of several SCI journals including ACS catalysis, Microporous and Mesoporous Materials, Catalysts, and Reactive & Functional Polymers.
