Title: Research on life cycle assessment based on the evidential reasoning approach
Abstract:
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a tool to assess the environmental impacts and resources used throughout a products life cycle, i.e., from raw material acquisition, via production and use phases, to waste management. Assessment on the life cycle of products is the great demand of sustainable development in the future, especially for complex products. Here, LCA is conducted on electronic car and fuel car based on some data and investigations, and evidential reasoning (ER) approach is applied to integrate the values of different attributes in the assessment structure. Meanwhile, marching learning is applied to transform the comments on the website from consumers to belief degrees. The ER approach which considers both reliabilities and weights of experts is designed to aggregate the assessments from multiple sources in the LCA process. Entropy-based weight assignment model is used to generate the weights of attributes in the LCA process. Deviated interval and fixed interval attributes are introduced into ER based MADM approach and the transformation rules from the assessment values of deviated interval attributes to belief degrees in the ER structure are studied.
