Behnam Khorrami was born in 1987 in Marand, East Azarbaijan Province of Iran. He received his bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Engineering from Urmia University, Iran in 2012. With a master’s degree in Remote Sensing & Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Tabriz, Iran, and a Ph.D. in GIS from Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, Turkey, Behnam takes benefit of profound knowledge and experience working on a variegated study. As a Geoinformatics researcher, Behnam has completed many research projects so far which. Although a preponderance of his publications was on environmental hazards, especially hydro-meteorological issues, Behnam is very fond of applying different state-of-the-art remote sensing missions and developing indices for the spatiotemporal modeling, monitoring, and assessment of different features related to society, nature, and the Earth.
