Biography: 
Gongjian Zhou received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2000, 2002, and 2008 respectively, in information and communication engineering. From 2011 to 2012, he was a Visiting Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology. His research interests include estimation, tracking, detection, signal processing and information fusion. He has published about 80 papers, including 20 international journal articles. He received the first Prize of State Technology Advancement Award in 2015, China Patent Excellence Award in 2016 and China Patent Silver Award in 2018. He was named as a Young Scholar of Long Jiang Scholar in 2018.
