Dr. Xiong Wang received his B. S. degree in Chemistry and M. S. degree in Organic Chemistry from Hubei University, Wuhan, and obtained his Ph. D in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Lanzhou University, Lanzhou. He has published more than 30 scientific papers, a book chapter, and acquired about 40 authorized patents. He gained the Young Scientific and Technological Talents Award of China National Petroleum Company (CNPC) in 2018, and now he serves as a senior expert in Petrochina Petrochemical Research Institute (2022-2024). As the leader of an innovation team, he has completed successfully 13 projects on scientific researches and novel product development, supported by PetroChina, and got involved in more than 20 projects. He has gained 7 science and technology awards from PetroChina, Gansu Province and professional association. His research fields focus on olefin polymerization catalysis, olefin polymerization process and engineering, porous materials and polyolefin novel products R. & D. He is also an active reviewer of several SCI journals including ACS catalysis, Microporous and Mesoporous Materials, ACS Applied Organometallic Chemistry, and Reactive & Functional Polymers.
